I have been a career teacher, studying the stories that we construct in order to understand our world. I love the written word and the seen image; I feed on memoirs; I love to wander the world aimlessly. But I am also rooted in my community in Cincinnati and have strong bonds that connect me to education, art, and social justice. I am the mother of three human young adults and one ancient canine Husky. I live in an old house in the woods with my husband, a perfect place in which to write. And that is what I plan to do in this next phase of my life...
